Incredible breakfasts, and polite staff.
The hotel is modern and in a magnificent location near the Suedplatz tram stop on Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse. Reasonably large and cheap room with exceptionally comfortable bed and hypoallergenic pillows. Nice view of garden. Location really close to various nice bars and restaurants, a quiet square in a part of town where many students seem to live and modestly priced restaurants. Relaxing base for a short stay, recommend...

The views of the street were stunningly beautiful. the staff members were really helpful. - the double room I booked was inexpensive and included a sofa and free Wi-Fi. - the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a variety of options including cereal, pastries, and eggs.

I stayed in the hotel only 4 days and as far as my aim was to travel round the town it was a good decision to chose right this place. It's only 15 walking down to the city center and 2 with the tram that stops in 3 mins away from the hotel. Cant's say anything else, cause was relaxing in the room only in the evenings, so all I needed was tv, wifi, bed and that is it)
I cant say that the staff was friendly, it was neutral. The cleaning of the room was really bad, besides doing the bed (without changing the bedclothes) I didnt notice any changes. And I think 9,5 euro pro breakfast is a bit too much. So the hotel is good only for short staying when you dont plan to stay there a whole day. It doesnt deserve 4*, it's a good 3*.

Excellently located near the kneipe-mile, with plenty of nice restaurants and pubs. City Center is walkable, but trams go frequently as well. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet at a good price. Free WiFi.
Their internet gateway breaks down once in a while. Staff don't know how to fix or reset.

Very competent staff, excellent room for the price. Free public parking right across the street. One block walk to public transportation, which is excellent in Leipzig. Only three tram stops from center/Gewandhaus. Good wifi system in place in room. Lots of restaurants available within a couple of blocks, international selection of cuisine. Leipzig rocks!

The location is excellent. Across from a small park and just a few steps to the restaurants and bars on Karli. Nice spacious room and bright bathroom. The bed is comfortable. There are free soft drinks in the fridge which was much appreciated.
The television is very small. There are no tea-coffee making facilities. The lock to the room was very difficult to open.

I had an amazing value for my money at Hotel Markgraf in Leipzig. The room was clean, comfortable, and had its own unique character with a bay window and sloped roof. The location was perfect, with plenty of eateries, bakeries, and supermarkets nearby.
The breakfast menu could have had a bit more variety.

Good hotel, excellent staff, good food, very clean and comfortable. As a biker they have secure parking under the hotel. It is a 15 minute stroll into the centre of town but there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the way.
